There are a lot of hard things about being happy.
There is no perfect formula for making or finding happiness or finding your groove in life, period. But there are a few general guidelines for approaching it.
Hey, happiness is your birthright.Â
There is no perfect formula for making or finding happiness or finding your groove in life, period. But there are a few general guidelines for approaching it.Â
Making choices, changes, doing scary things, shifting perspective and finally asking for your own needs — all of those can be hard.
But I know that creating habits is a special kind of hard.
The first part of the equation is living intentionally.Â
1. Make room for it. Making room for it means that you have to let go of what isn't serving you, and then you have to stand in that empty space for a while, the place between no longer and not yet.Â
2. Be patient. In other words, stop running from yourself and hiding behind busyness or other people and dig deep into your relationship with your true calling to create purpose and happiness.Â
3. Put yourself out there. You are part of something big, creating a place in this world, a sense of belonging, to find other resources from who you are and what you want in our community. Â
Happiness is your lifeblood, not something external to you; it's not a place you have to get to. It's a way of being that's already inside you.
I always try to give you tools and strategies to help make your work easier. But if you sometimes still feel overwhelmed, just know you aren't alone.
Being happy is hard because sometimes, the things that are most worth doing - are hard.
Give yourself some grace for the hard days.Â
Look for a squad to lift you when you need it. And strive to be that person for someone else.
You've got this.
Thank you for being born. I am so happy you are here.
always love,
