Howdy Neighbour!!
Last year at this time, I was the Mayor of Shroomtown!
If you know, you know, this is a town with big plans, new ideas, and plenty of high-spirited people who are always looking for new ways to build a beautifully lived life.
I love my job because it gives me time to explore all sorts of things that interest me.
Meet the new favourite on Psychedelics conversations for grown-ups block in today's newsletter:
"The sun shines brightly on a new day. The air is fresh, crisp. I am looking forward to my next experience with MDMA." says every single person who ever healed their pain this way.
I have been using MDMA for a few years now, and I am so happy with the bright changes it has brought me. I was a little hesitant to mention my use of MDMA publicly because of how stigmatized it is in society.
Still, as more grown-ups continue to speak out about their use of drugs like this for therapeutic purposes, we become less afraid of others who judge or condemn us based on old biases. One of the most important and groundbreaking advances in recent years is how people are using psychedelic drugs to help resolve trauma.
My goal going into it was to make talking about drugs and taking drugs a conversation we need to have.
I am acutely aware that we are all in this time on the planet together, friends and companions on the journey through traumatic times. Our stories heal—and simultaneously is a beautiful evolution for humanity!
That's what it means to be an exact match for your trauma: doing scary things because being willing to take risks is how we change.
Taking care of yourself is not a race.
This is hard work but will improve with awareness (hopefully supportive tools and people).
Take your time to discover how to heal yourself with love and patience.
Let the sunshine on you.
Hugs and drugs,
Ps. One thing I've learned is how important having my Coach has been during this journey of self-discovery by learning more about myself than I ever thought possible. To hold yourself accountable means doing something uncomfortable now or later because there isn't any other option when growing.
