Hello, beautiful souls,
Have you ever silenced a part of yourself, only to bumble into reawakening entirely unexpectedly?
For decades, I immersed myself in the enchantment of new-age wellness, believing in cosmic alignment and flakey guru wisdom. But, surprise! It was unfounded, soulless, sheer emptiness and meaningless, leading to a spiritual collapse, or as some call it, an existential awakening or crisis (depending on the day!).
As I often share on podcasts offering a glimpse into my nuanced experience, my journey was more culty than cosmic. Commanding the astral aftermath of unhealed trauma and a broken belief system is messy; it's tough and requires reliance and commitment. Yet, there's unexpected beauty within the chaos—an opportunity to embrace the spiritual sludge and discover my truth. Amidst the rubble, finding my footing and sitting with these complexities led me to authentic places.
I'm in a space of newfound freedom—exhilarating and unfamiliar. It's a mix of letting go and a deep desire to rebuild a connection and remember the goodness of humanity.
Something I may have lost or never genuinely experienced.
You see, I turned off the 'spiritual' side, convinced it was all wrong. But lately, I've found the essence of my beliefs in understanding myself with the world and nature. Compelled by healthy skepticism, a critical lens, courage, curiosity, a willingness to lean into the unknown, and acknowledging that some aspects of life have no explanation, I can return to explore this cosmic journey. It's hard to put into words; I overlooked some of the best parts of myself, but I'm getting back on the bicycle, sharing delight in ways that feel consensual, safe and comfy.
Throughout this process, I've felt less isolated and alone—experiencing profound connectedness, awe, wonder, gratitude, and even love can expand and let pleasure unfold.
Sounds strange. But also wonderfully weird?

“Faith is many things.” Yes! Something beautiful I have discovered in all this work is faith in myself - first and foremost. Nobody has the answer to what is right for me but me!
