I’m not clear on how you used NLP in your writing example that you shared, even though you’ve explained it to me before. Is that an example of mirroring?

1. NLP is famous for setting up a double bind

a)choosing to be here and b)must be about you too

2. in power over situations, the participant is not given a "choice". Often conflicting information is offered, the assumption is an agreement

3. that becomes dangerous bc it is confusing who is making the choice

4. when agreement is established, the power over person can then tell the participant how to think/feel

5. my intention in writing that was to demonstrate a connection with the reader, which is a fair offer. The tricky part is that I assumed we were the same(agreement) from that point. If I was not a kind person, I could've named other self-serving ways I want the reader to be here for me/my cause/ my needs (sales) - harm goes there is that the participant might think it is the benefit of both of us (bc we agree), but it is only for me/my agenda
